MARINIs GIARDINO HOTEL

Sleeping in the middle of nature

In Dorf Tirol, a village towering above the city of Meran, lies the MARINIs giardino Hotel. The central element of the family-run hotel is its namesake garden. The natural diversity of the garden and the relationship with the surrounding nature were therefore also to be reflected in the redesign of the guest rooms.

The new rooms are divided into three open areas, which are characterised by different materials and can thus be distinguished from one another. In the bathrooms, dark tiles lend privacy and intimacy and backlit mirrors create a pleasant atmosphere. Wood panelling in the living areas turns the rooms into small homes and creates feelings of cosiness and security. Colourful velvet furniture brings the colourfulness of the gardens into the rooms. The sleeping areas are immersed in nature. Large, glazed windows offer views of the surrounding glaciers of the Ortler Group and colourful plant wallpapers allow guests to sleep in the midst of nature.

Special attention was paid to the fabrics and clean shapes. The use of wood and colourful velvet contributes significantly to the cosiness of the rooms, thereby creating a luxurious eco-design. A colourful mix of classic and contemporary colours continues the colourfulness of the garden in the rooms.
