TEMPORARY COUNTER HARPF

A floating ribbon

The Brunecker Sommerabende is an event that takes place every year in the historic centre of the medieval town of Bruneck. The long shopping evenings accompanied by a culinary and cultural program are one of the highlights of the summer season. In mild temperatures, tourists and locals stroll through the shopping streets, mingle with each other and strike up new relationships.

A bar counter was designed especially for these summer evenings in Bruneck for the drinks retailer Harpf, where customers can taste the product range of the drinks shop on the opposite side of the street.

The counter is reminiscent of a purple-colored ribbon blowing in the wind. The company’s trademark colour purple ties into the colour scheme of the shop opposite the counter. Starting at the shop entrance, the ribbon runs across the street to then form the counter. The end of the ribbon reaches up into the sky, making the counter recognisable and the company logo visible from afar. The ribbon consists of a purple carpet that stretches across the street and the organically shaped counter made of sheet metal.
