Autumn Traditions

From October until the beginning of the Advent season, there is an old culinary tradition in South Tyrol: the so-called Törggelen. The term Törggelen is derived from the Torggl, the wine press used to crush the grapes. Nowadays, Törggelen has become a much loved tradition. Local delicacies are combined with walks in the autumnal landscape. This year we enjoyed chestnuts and good wine at the Glangerhof in Feldthurns, surrounded by magical autumn colours.
