For the conversion of the former hotel "Rentschnerhof" into rental apartments and two condominiums, the project plans a complete new building.
The new building runs parallel to Rentscherstraße and has a bend in the east.
The bend ensures that the new building volume offers optimum protection against the strong winds from the Eisack Valley in the cold season.
Due to the parallel course of the structure to Rentscherstraße, the new building volume moves to the north and thus creates a generous space for the gardens facing south. The building is closed to the northeast and opens to the southwest. The division of the living spaces follows accordingly. The access, utility rooms and bathrooms are oriented to the northeast, rooms and living spaces to the southwest.
The high-quality rental apartments are designed in such a way that the space can be flexibly adapted to the requirements and life situations of the residents. While the ground floor apartments have private garden areas, the apartments on the upper floors have spacious terraces. These are designed in such a way that they are protected from sun and rain.
