With great sensitivity and respect, the lower floors of the listed building were transformed into a delicatessen and drinks shop. Here, shopping is a sensory experience, with the corporate color running through the entire store like a ” violet thread”. The central arch provides access to the interior of the shop, while the other two offer a glimpse into the product range and the day-to-day operations. The shop itself is divided into two areas. The delicatessen is located in the front. Attention to detail makes the delicatessen look like a small, lovingly decorated corner shop. Antique pieces of furniture alternate with more modern, simple sales shelves, creating an ideal interplay of antique and new. The drinks sales area is located in the back. Antique sofas, chests of drawers and other antiques make the shop look like a cosy living room to relax in. The Harpf & Friends corner creates the connection between the two areas. A library and several seating areas invite you to spend time and nurture relationships. The shop’s vaulted ceiling is highlighted by carefully planned lighting and lends the shop its historical flair. Antique photos reinforce the atmosphere of a place steeped in history but at the same time full of new stories and new encounters.
